Rivers: Enforcers of Good Governance Backs Tinubu, Launches 2027 Mobilization

In a decisive move to strengthen grassroots political engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Enforcers of Good Governance, a prominent socio-political advocacy group, has reaffirmed its full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and announced the launch of a nationwide door-to-door sensitization campaign.

This was contained in a communique issued after an expanded stakeholders meeting held today (Monday, June 9, 2025), in Rivers State, under the leadership of the group’s National Convener, Dr. Kingsley Ogu.

The meeting followed the group’s endorsement of the strategic roadmap recently unveiled by its National Leader in Abuja.

Endorsement of President Tinubu

During the meeting, the group unanimously reiterated its “unwavering and unalloyed support” for President Tinubu’s leadership, lauding his bold policies and steadfast commitment to democratic governance under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“President Tinubu has shown courage and vision in tackling national challenges and pushing forward with reforms aimed at securing a better future for all Nigerians,” the communiqué stated.

“We appreciate the President’s leadership in restoring calm and initiating reconciliation efforts. We respectfully urge him to consider lifting the state of emergency in Rivers State as a symbolic gesture in celebration of Democracy Day on June 12,” the group noted.

Stakeholders Representing All 319 Wards in Rivers

The meeting drew participants from all 319 political wards in Rivers State, with each Enforcer representing a grassroots mobilizer and registered voter. According to the group, this turnout reflects its organizational strength and readiness to mobilize widespread support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Nationwide Sensitization Campaign Announced

To consolidate its support, the group announced the launch of a nationwide door-to-door sensitization campaign aimed at raising awareness about the achievements of the Tinubu administration and encouraging civic participation ahead of the next election cycle.

“This campaign is about taking the message of good governance directly to the people. We are determined to deepen civic engagement and inspire renewed faith in our democracy — one household at a time,” said Dr. Kingsley Ogu.
