Reps invite AGF, IGP, HoS, others over Maina’s reinstatement saga

An ad-hoc committee of the House of Representatives has summoned the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, to appear before it in connection with the circumstances that led to the reinstatement of the former Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Maina, as a director in the Ministry of Interior.

Among the key personalities to also appear before the committee led by Mr. Ali Madaki were the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris; Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Winifred Oyo-Ita; Finance Minister, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

They are billed to appear before the lawmakers starting from Wednesday, November 23 and Thursday, November 24, 2017 to shed more light on Maina’s scandalous reinstatement.
