In a strong show of support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the Renewed Hope Partners, Abia Central Senatorial District chapter, have unanimously endorsed his re-election bid for 2027.
The endorsement followed the successful All Progressives Congress (APC) National Summit held on May 22, 2025, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where a vote of confidence was passed on the President.
In a communique signed by Pastor Pat Ikechi PhD, Coordinator, and Dr. Larry Isaac, Secretary of the group, the Abia Central chapter, commended President Tinubu for what they described as “outstanding and profound achievements” in governance and economic reform.
The group highlighted several key accomplishments of the Tinubu administration, including the increase in revenue allocations to state governments following the removal of fuel subsidy, unification of the exchange rate, repayment of the $3.4 billion IMF loan and the clearance of over N30 trillion in accumulated “ways and means” borrowing.
They also praised the over 100 percent increase in workers’ salaries, tax reforms, the launch of the Students Loan Scheme and massive infrastructure projects like the 700km Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road and the 1,068km Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway.
The communique further emphasized the role of Deputy Speaker Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu in galvanizing support through the Renewed Hope Partners movement. The group pledged to work assiduously for the re-election of President Tinubu and the victory of APC candidates across the board in the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement by Renewed Hope Partners Abia Central further showed the growing momentum within the APC and across the country as preparations for the 2027 elections begin to take shape.
