Rebuilder365: Chikamnayo Gives More Insights

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Barr. Eze Chikamnayo has explained that the Rebuilder365 social media campaign of the State government does not suggest that Governor Ikpeazu started rebuilding Abia in 2022 but a chronicle of his efforts in repositioning Abia since 2015.

Barrister Chikamnayo, who gave this insight in a monitored radio programme in Umuahia tagged “Peoples Parliament” disclosed that Dr. Ikpeazu started rebuilding Abia since 2015, from the first day he became Governor and said “if you look at our Rebuilder365 series, we are chronicling the rebuilding efforts of the Governor, spaning from 2015 and moving forward. Please, it is not about 2022 but it is about what he has been doing. We are saying that everything that the Governor has been doing from 2015 can be summerized in the word,The Rebuilder Of Abia State”

The Commissioner further said that the Governor has not relented in rebuilding the State saying that “where there are bad roads he moves in to rebuild them, where there are dilapidated hospitals and structures, he moves in to rebuild them, where confidence is lacking, like our brothers and sisters who are making shoes in Aba and stamping Made in China, Made in Japan, he rebuilt their confidence and today our young boys are now stamping their products proudly Made in Aba. He is rebuilding their psych, rebuilding their confidence, rebuilding their capacity to earn money”

He maintained that he Governor is rebuilding sector by sector, adding that today the State is talking about what he is doing in rebuilding the health sector, particularly, “by providing hospital equipment, rebuilding the dilapidated moribund Aba General Hospital, the Abia Diagnostic centre being done in Isuikwuato General Hospital” which is to cater for the healthcare needs of the people of Abia North among others.

Barr Chikamnayo appreciated Abia people and residents for their support to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

He urged them to sustain their support and assured that the Governor was committed to completing projects initiated by his administration within his tenure.
