Cristiano Ronaldo became the first man to score in five World Cups as Portugal beat Ghana 3-2.
After a goalless first half, Ronaldo converted a penalty after he was tripped in the penalty box by Mohammed Salisu.
Andre Ayew equalised in the 73rd minute.
But Ghana’s equaiser woke up a sleeping lion as Portugal responded with two goals in two minutes through Joao Felix and Rafael Leao.
Usman Bukhari scored Ghana’s second and consolatory goal as the African side fail to find the equaliser.
Ghana became the first African side to score a goal in this World Cup and Africa is yet to win a match.
Portugal now top group H after Uruguay and South Korea ended their encounter goalless.
