This is contained in a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, on Monday in Enugu.
Ndukwe said that the state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr Lawal Abubakar, had charged successful candidates from the state to be amenable (to be willing) to undergo the training.
“The Command wishes to inform candidates from the state, who participated in the medical screening stage of the 2021 Recruitment Exercise of 10,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police, that they have been invited to check their recruitment status by visiting ‘www.policerecruitment.gov.ng’.
“Those who are successful, upon checking the portal, are advised to print out their Invitation Slip, which they must proceed with to Police College, Oji-River, Enugu State for the Recruits Training Exercise.
“Consequently, the successful candidates are to note that the Training Exercise commences on Monday, July 25, while their documentation in the Training College starts on Saturday, July 23 and closes on Sunday, July 30.
“Therefore, any candidate who fails to report within the specified period would be considered to have declined the offer,” he said.
Ndukwe noted that the successful candidates are also required to report to the College with the following items: printout of the invitation slip; original copy of National Identity Number (NIN) card/slip and original copies of credentials.
Other items required are: a printout of Bank Verification Number (BVN) slip with clear picture of the applicant; four copies of passport photographs with white background; two pairs of white round-neck T-Shirt and short nicker and two pairs of white trainers’ shoes and white socks.
