Police have fixed date and venue for automated physical and credential screening for candidates who successfully completed online registration in the ongoing 9th Regular Course intake into Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Daniel Ndukwe, recently in Enugu.
“The Police Command in Enugu State wishes to inform applicants of the state origin, who completed online registration in the ongoing 9th Regular Course intake into Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil-Kano, that automated physical and credential screening has been scheduled.
“It will hold from Monday, Sept. 26, 2022 to Saturday, Oct.1, 2022, by 8a.m. daily at the Senior Police Officers Mess, Agbani Road in Enugu,” he said.
The police spokesman said that the applicants should report to the venue in clean white T-shirts and white shorts.
He said that they should come with the following mandatory basic screening requirements, which must be neatly arranged in two white flat files attached with recent passport photographs as follows:
“Printout of screening invitation slip, which can be obtained online through www.polac.edu.ng; and evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government recognized medical hospital.
“Evidence of Good Character duly signed by applicant’s village/district head (Traditional Ruler); certificate of origin duly signed by the applicant’s Local Government Chairman or Secretary as well as National Identity Number (NIN) slip.
“Original and duplicate copies of credentials, including O’ Level result(s); certificate of origin and birth certificate/declaration of age; JAMB result printout; printout of application form as well as duly completed guarantor’s form.
“The applicants are to note that failure to present the above mentioned items will lead to them not being considered for the screening.
“They are equally advised to pay attention to details and specific guidelines during the screening exercise,” he said.
Meanwhile, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr Ahmed Ammani, while wishing the applicants success in the screening exercise, reiterated that the exercise is absolutely free and without any pecuniary obligation.
The commissioner said that the exercise would be guided by statutory entry requirements into the Nigeria Police Force, adding: “I want applicants for the exercise to be wary of scammers and report any contrary act for necessary action”.
