Police Ensures Safe, Peaceful Celebration In Abia

The Abia State Police Command has extended warm Easter greetings to Christian faithful in the state, assuring residents of a safe and joyful celebration.

In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chinaka, the Command described Easter as a sacred occasion that commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and prayed for joy, peace, and blessings in every home.

Reaffirming its commitment to public safety, the Command announced that a comprehensive security operation has been activated to ensure the safety of lives and property before, during, and after the Easter festivities.

According to the statement, security personnel have been strategically deployed across key locations in the state, including worship centers, recreational spots, major roads, and other public areas. Both visible patrols and undercover operations are ongoing to guarantee a hitch-free celebration.
