Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has been applauded for the developmental trajectory witnessed in the state especially in areas of human capital development, security of lives and property of citizens among other programmes of the present administration.
A businessman and philanthropist, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, made the commendation while addressing Journalists at his Umuawa Alaocha country home in Umuahia North LGA.
Igbokwe, who is also the initiator of “Don Lulu Foundation”, urged Governor Ikpeazu not to relent in his efforts geared towards enhancing the livelihood of Abians through the various programs and policies of the state government.
He called on stakeholders and well meaning Abians to engage the Youths through meaningful ventures so as to reduce the crime rate in the country.
According to Igbokwe, his foundation embarked on a lot of humanitarian services including; Youth empowerment, Agricultural programs among others so as to keep the youths engaged and reduce the crime rate in the Society.
On the forthcoming 2023 General Elections, the Businessman advised Abians to obtain their PVCs so as to vote in credible leaders who would enthrone positive change in the State and country.
