Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ukwa-West Chapter has Inaugurated her Campaign Council for 2023 general elections.
In a release made available to newsmen by the Committee Chairman On Media And Communication, PDP Campaign Council Ukwa-West, Comrade O. P. Ifeanyichukwu, the Abia State Commissioner for Environment and the Campaign Director-General, Hon. Barr. Samuel Okezie Nwogu charged members of the Campaign Council, to leave no stone unturned and ensure that all the candidates of the party emerge victorious.
In his words: “We must, as a matter of obligation, deliver all PDP candidates, starting from the State House of Assembly to Presidency in the 2023 general polls.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman, Ukwa West Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Chief Okey Kanu has also urged the campaign council members to work assiduously to ensure that PDP Ukwa West chapter, registers victory at all levels in the next elections, adding that it was the primary aim of their appointments.
He further advised the central campaign council members and ward coordinators to take their job seriously, urging them to do everything within their powers to deliver all the candidates of PDP in Ukwa, Abia state and Nigeria at large.
Meanwhile, the chairman, PDP Ukwa-West LGA, Comrade Kingsley Enyite in his speech, maintained that disloyalty and anti party activities among others, will not be tolerated from any of the committee members.
“The 2023 general polls must be taken seriously to be able to record maximum success for the party and her candidates at all levels, across wards and units in Ukwa West LGA, come 2023 general elections”, he added.
Contributing, the PDP candidate for the Ukwa West State Constituency, Hon. Godwin Anyamagiobi Adiele has congratulated members of the Campaign Council, noting that they were carefully selected as men and women of capacity.
Adiele who expressed hope that PDP would win at all levels in the forthcoming general elections, assured party faithfuls that they would be carried along after the 2023 general elections.
