PDP North-East Zone Rejects Wike’s Verbal Attacks

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) North East Zone strongly condemns the recent spiteful and arrogant verbal attacks by Barrister Nyesom Wike, Minister of FCT, against our respected leader, Senator Bala Mohammed, former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and currently the Executive Governor of Bauchi State and Chairman of the PDP Governor’s Forum.

We stand firmly in support of Senator Mohammed, a revered statesman and committed party leader, and applaud his efforts to unify and strengthen our party.

Barrister Wike’s constant jabs and threats against sitting PDP Governors are unacceptable and only serve to fan the embers of divisive inequity and disregard for democratically elected leaders of state. If he is unable to work within the party’s democratic structures, we suggest he exercises his right to exit the party rather than continue to sow cancerous discord.

We also urge Barrister Wike to cease his divisive rhetoric and work towards party harmony and progress.
