PDP Forum Chairmen Pass Vote Of Confidence On BoT Chairman, Sen Wabara

…support position of BOT, PDP Governor’s Forum in rivers political crises

The forum of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmen of Abia South Senatorial zone has declared that they have implicit confidence, trust and faith in the capacity and astuteness of Senator Adolphus Wabara, as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the party.

Chief Wabara, a former Senate President hails from Ohambele-Ndoki, in Ukwa East Local Government Area (LGA), one among the LGAs like Aba South, Aba North, Ugwunagbo, Ukwa West and Obingwa LGAs that make up the Abia South Senatorial Zone.

In a communiqué signed by Chief Seth Agomuo of Obingwa, Honourable Kingsley Enyite of Ukwa West, Honourable Samuel Atulegwu of Aba North, Sir Okechi Nwaohu of Ukwa East and Chief Emeka Egwim of Aba South, the Chairmen said that Wabara is a big asset in his present position in the party.

They described Wabara as a seasoned politician and career diplomat and one who has garnered inexhaustible experience(s) in various fields of life endeavour which served.

The Chairmen equally said that they support the position of BOT and PDP Governor’s Forum as it relates to the current political crises ravaging Rivers State and maybe other areas.

“We support wholly and entirely the setting up of the Reconciliation and Disciplinary Committees to look into the current problems and misunderstandings in our party.

“And appeal that those saddled with these responsibilities should handle them adequately, efficiently and diligently, notwithstanding whose odd is gored as to restore order and discipline in our great party PDP.”

The Forum of PDP Chairmen in Abia South also stressed that they support every viable step(s) and decision of the National Working Committee (NWC), National Executive Council (NEC) and BOT of the party that will lead to full restoration of tranquillity, discipline and orderliness as envisaged by the founding fathers of our great party- the Peoples Democratic Party.
