PCRC National Leadership Visits Abia Police Commissioner on Capacity-Building

The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) National Executive Members, Zonal Coordinators, and the State Chairman, led by the National Chairman, Alhaji Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyi, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa. The visit was part of their ongoing capacity-building workshop.

During the visit, the National Chairman commended the Commissioner of Police for his remarkable strides in the fight against crime and his commitment to professionalism among officers of the Command as they discharge their duties across the state.

The Commissioner of Police warmly received the delegation and commended the PCRC team for their dedication and hard work in fostering collaboration with the police, from the national to the state levels. He also lauded the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) for his visionary leadership in crime-fighting strategies and mentorship, which have contributed to many successful operational achievements nationwide.

Furthermore, the CP appreciated the Governor of Abia State for his continuous support to the Command, noting that the Command has sustained robust collaboration with the state government, relevant stakeholders — including the PCRC, sister security agencies, and the public. He emphasized that all officers of the Force, by the nature of their duties, are Public Relations Officers, creating a positive image within their spheres of contact. CP Danladi assured the delegation of the Command’s unwavering support and partnership.

In line with the vision of the IGP, the CP reiterated that the Command is committed to eradicating unprofessional practices within the system and to building a corps of officers who are professionally competent, rule-of-law compliant, people-friendly, and dedicated to the constitutional mandate of protecting lives and property.
