Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, has appointed Onyebuchi Ememanka as the Director-General of the Abia State Strategic Communications Bureau.
Ememanka previously served as Chief Press Secretary to former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu during the latter’s second term in office.
He resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in May 2025 and subsequently declared support for Governor Otti’s administration.
The Governor also appointed Igwe Samuel Obinna as Senior Special Assistant on New Media.
Details of the appointments were contained in a Government Special Announcement signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Publicity, Mr Ferdinard Ekeoma.
