Otti Inaugurates 21-Man Committee For 2024 Aba International Trade Fair

 

A 21- man joint Aba Trade Fair committee has been inaugurated with a charge on them to organize a credible and successful 2024 Aba International Trade Fair program in the state.

 

Speaking shortly after inaugurating the Committee at Government House Umuahia, Governor Alex Otti urged the committee to use their experience to make the event successful.

The Governor represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba highlighted his administration’s focus on trade and commerce.

 

He said the trade fair would help local producers gain international recognition and create opportunities for foreigners to see Aba’s exportable products.

The Governor noted the rapid growth in the state’s agriculture and commerce since he assumed office and promised to ensure balanced development across the state’s economy.

 

 

He highlighted the importance of the trade fair and pointed out that it would allow producers to show their creativity and competitiveness, which are important for innovation and growth.

 

Responding, the Joint Committee Chairman of the 2024 Aba Trade Fair and Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade, Commerce and Industry, Chief Nwaka Inem assured the Governor that they would meet their goals and revive the economic activities in Aba.

Other members of the committee include Mr. Dodoh Okafor, Miss Ure Abasie, Agbonma Ukaobasi, Mr. Ogbonna Chidobe.

 

Others are; Mrs. Ekanem Esther, Mrs. Lucky Nmeregini, Mr. Uche Ukeje, Mazi Jude Nwosu, Cletus Ekpo, Ekene Enukeme, Ekene Okpalaezinne.

 

The rest are Chief Joseph Ogwo, Dozie Okoroama, Sir James Ikoro, Lady Chinyere Ogalabu, Marcellus Ezeh, Sir Chris Agbo, Clinton Chukwueke, Chief Odinaka Udeze, and Franklin Johnson.

 

The President of the Aba Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (ACCIMA), Mr. Geoffrey Uzoagbara was present during the event.
