Osinbajo to lead negotiations with ASUU

After what seem like motion without movement, the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has taken over the headship of the Federal Government negotiation team with the striking Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige while briefing State House correspondents after Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council, FEC, meeting.

The minister also blamed the private sector of being responsible for the delay in announcing the Chairman of the Minimum Wage Review Committee.

According to him, the Federal Government was ready and will announce the Chairman of the Committee when all the names of representatives of the private sector is received.
