In the spirit of sportsmanship, the Governorship Candidate under the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) in the just concluded Governorship election in Cross River State, Senator Sandy Onor, has accepted the verdict given by the Supreme Court on the 12th of January 2024 declaring Senator Bassey Otu of All Progressive Congress ( APC) the rightful winner of the Governorship election in Cross River State.
Despite being the main opposition to Governor Otu and taking the second position in the race, Senator Onor has congratulated Governor Otu and his Deputy Hon. Peter Odey for their victory starting from the primaries to the Supreme Court.
He call on the people of the State to support Governor Otu and his administration in order to move the State forward, as well as encourage them to give advice and prayers that can help guarantee the smooth running of the State.
Senator Onor thanked his supporters and those that have believed and stood by him through out the race, urging them to come together and work with Senator Bassey Otu led administration for the good and development of Cross River State.
