Ojiegbe becomes Ikpeazu’s Chief Press Secretary

The Abia State Commissioner For Information, Chief John Okiyi, has congratulated Mr. Chika Ojiegbe on his appointment as chief press secretary to the wife of Abia Governor.

Ojiegbe, a former speech writer to Abia First Lady was appointed recently to

replace Mr. Eze Ajuzie who is now a permanent secretary, Bureau of Common Services.

The Commissioner described Ojiegbe as one coming from a familiar terrain and advised him to continue working hard to reciprocate the honour done him.

The information boss acknowledged that the job come with its kind of challenge adding that his office will be working in synergy with him to ensure the success of the administration led by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

Okiyi explained that press statements or releases should flow with clarity of purpose and direction with the confirmation of the principal before going  public so that there wouldn’t be vacuum for misinformation.

In his remarks, the newly appointed Chief Press Secretary to the wife of the Governor, Mr. Chika Ojiegbe said that the exchange of ideas gained today in his office will help him succeed in his job.

” There is a lot to learn from you as we move forward and we will not hesitate to always come to you, now that we have greater impetus to do the work well with your support.
