The Traditional Ruler of Ohiya Autonomous Community in Umuahia South Local Government Area of Abia State,Eze Abel Uhegbu,today released royal blessings on Engr Ogbonna Abarikwu,the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), candidate for the Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency in the forth coming election.
The APGA candidate for Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency, who made a brief stop at the Palace of the traditional ruler, during his ‘Thank You’ visit to Local Government and Ward Executive members of APGA in Umuahia South LGA, received prayers from the Ohiya monarch,who also encouraged him to work hard,if he must win his election.
According to the Traditional Ruler, APGA as a party, has maintained a good name in the entire South East, saying that the party has chances of winning election.
“You will need to work hard if you must win.Your party, APGA has a good name and they have a good chance to win election.Just remain resolute in your pursuit”.
Speaking,Engr Abarikwu admired the traditional ruler who is already a nonagenarian but still full of strength, saying that it shows how good the monarch is both at heart and in character.
Abarikwu Kneeling Before The Monarch
Abarikwu who knelt before the Royal father to tap into his age, promised to grace the Iriji celebration of the monarch coming up soon.
He added that he came on a familiarization visit to the palace of the Eze,ahead of his Iriji celebration, pointing that it won’t be nice to be seeing the Eze for the first time on the day of his New yam celebration.
Earlier, the Director General Ogbonna Abarikwu Campaign Organization and the Director Media, Mr Osondu Anamelechi and Hon Okezie Uwakwe, respectively, commended the monarch for receiving the train in a warm reception and expressed their love for him.
