Ogunji lauds Vicar Hope Foundation Skills Acquisition

The Director Aba Urban Renewal and Abia South senate aspirant, Mr. Solomon Ogunji has described the Vicar Hope Foundation’s Springboard Skills Acquisition programme of the wife of Abia State Governor Mrs Nkechi Ikpeazu as an alternative to job creation.

Ogunji, who stated this recently at the empowerment of 50, graduands in the area of fashion designing, shoe making, photography, interior decorating and hair styling from the Springboard skills acquisition programme in Ukwa East Local Government Area of the State.

He  added that he has not seen a governors wife like the wife of Abia State Governor whose passion is not only in the care of the maternal new born, the girl child, building houses for the indigent widows but also in the creation of jobs for women and the youths in our state.

He advised the beneficiaries of the programme to be diligent in their businesses because the market is already their for them to flourish.

The Abia South senate hopeful, expressed that the way things are going in Nigeria now that Abia South needs strong voice to represent them.

According to him, ” gone are the days of personal interest of those who represent us, this period in our polity, what we need is quality representation, federal presence in our state and not self serving senators who are only there for their personal interest and not for the senatorial district interest”.

Again, “while I humbly offer myself to serve my people, I equally advise those who have not gotten their permanent voter card to go register and get their PVC because this time every vote must count.
