The People of Oginigba Kingdom in Obio-akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State has bitterly lamented the poor state of the internal roads in their community despite the fact that they are the host of about 70% of the State industries
The Paramount Ruler of Ok Oginigba Kingdom, HRH Eze Gashion B. Odum, stated this recently in his palace when the People Democratic party (PDP), ward campaign team paid him courtesy call.
The Monarch used the opportunity to appeal to Governor Nyesom Wike to extend his attention to the community as he resumes for the second term.
Eze Odum was full of prasies for according to him, the focused leadership Wike has been providing the state and urge him never to be distracted, adding the though the opposition might not acknowledge his excellent performance now, the world over has done so through the numerous awards he has earned.
The royal father also commended the state Governor for not paying attention to those he described as gossipers who earn their living through that.
Speaking “If Governor Wike had listened to those Interlopers,I wouldn’t have been where I am today because there is nothing they have not done to pull me down but my God says no to their evil plots. I thank the Governor for been a man he is, my enemies will continuously be disgraced”, he declared.
The royal father equally used the opportunity to appeal to well meaning Nigerians to intervene and see how the there Ikwerre prominent sons including Governor Wike, former governor Chibuike Amaechi and Celestine Omehia could be reconcile in the interest of the Ikwerre Ethnic Nationality.
Eze Odum said that they are playing advisory role as traditional rulers, but he will be doing injustice to himself if he fails to mobilize members of his family to vote and defend their votes to support the PDP candidates’ .
The campaign coordinate Hon. Temple inform the monarch and his council of chiefs that the state Governor was actually the one who Commission who them for the campaign tagged ” operation sensitize and deliver your units”, in order to sure up their bulk vote delivery.
Finally EzeOdum thanked the PDP unit-to-unit campaign team from r deeming it fit to call in him and gave them his blessings for a safe programme in his domain.
