As Delta State commemorated its 34th anniversary on Wednesday, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori called on all citizens and residents to remain united, peaceful, and committed to building a greater and more prosperous state.

Speaking during a special thanksgiving service at the Government House Chapel, Asaba, the Governor—represented by Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu—expressed gratitude to Almighty God for His grace, mercy, and faithfulness since the state’s creation on August 27, 1991.

“Unity is the bedrock of our progress, and our diversity is our greatest strength. I therefore call on all Deltans to continue to promote peace, fairness, and brotherhood”,the Governor said.
