Former Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Ambassador Chijioke Ihunwo, has congratulated Governor Siminalayi Fubara on his decision to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing the move as courageous and strategic for the political stability of Rivers State.
Ambassador Ihunwo, in a goodwill message on Tuesday, said the governor’s decision represents “a pivotal moment in the political future of Rivers State.” He assured Governor Fubara of the unwavering support of the people of Obio/Akpor, stating that they stand firmly with him as he continues to steer the state toward progress and inclusive governance.
“Your bold move has our total backing, and we believe it will further strengthen the democratic structure and usher in a new chapter of development for our dear state,” he said.
Ambassador Ihunwo reaffirmed his confidence in Governor Fubara’s leadership and pledged continued loyalty and collaboration as the state transitions into a new political alignment.
