Nwankwo Felicitates with Assemblies of God Church on Fathers’ Day Celebration

The Deputy Chief of Staff, office of the deputy governor, Hon. Barr. Chijioke Nwankwo, has extended warm felicitations to the Assemblies of God Church on the occasion of their annual Fathering Sunday celebration.

In his goodwill message, Hon. Nwankwo praised the enduring strength, compassion, and selfless sacrifices of fathers, highlighting their vital role in nurturing families and shaping society. He described fathers as the backbone of both homes and nations, urging them to lead lives of integrity, discipline, and godly virtue.

“The values and ethics instilled by fathers have a profound impact on whether a society progresses or declines,” he noted. “Truly progressive societies are those that draw daily inspiration from the Word of God.”

Speaking on the importance of godly leadership, Nwankwo attributed the ongoing transformation in Abia State — from infrastructure development to improvements in education and healthcare — to the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti.

He emphasized that their role in raising responsible and morally upright children is critical to building a stronger and more prosperous future.
