The National Union Of Petroleum And Natural Gas , Petroleum Station workers yesterday 5th June, 2022 sworn in a new chairman for the association in the person of Comrade Abangwu Cletus Chikodi.
Comrade Abangwu Cletus took over from comrade Eze Atunwa from lmo state .
The new chairman hails from lsiala Ngwa south LGA in Abia state, a graduate of the prestigious university of Calabar who has been in the oil sector for years.
Comrade Abangwu in his acceptance speech promised to carry every member of the association along as far as their welfare is concerned .
He further stated that he is a product of orderliness and discipline and will like the two standards to be his bedrock .
The NUPENG PSW ABA DEPOT covers the entire Abia state , though it was covering Abia and lmo untill the lmo section was established .
Abangwu is the first Ngwa man and the second Abia man to occupy this position .
The swearing in ceremony took place at the NUPENG house Portharcourt .
Today’ 6th July 2022 , to show how prepared Comrade Abangwu is ,he took a tour of the NUPENG PSW ABA DEPOT office before 9 am in order to access the nature if the office .
