The 19th National Sports Festival finally took place in Abuja after several years of prostponements.
Team Delta emerged tops with 164 gold, 87 silver and 101 bronze medals. Rivers State came second with 69 gold, 58 silver and 67 bronze medals while Edo State came third with a total of 141 medals comprising of 47 gold, 41 silver and 53 bronze medals.
