Nigerian Clubs Progress In Continental Competitions

Lobi Stars of Makurdi and Rangers International of Enugu have progressed to the first round of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup respectively.

Lobi Stars defeated USM de Loums 2-0 in the second leg to progress 2-1 on aggregate. They will face Gor Mahia, who eliminated Nyasa Big Bullets, in the first round of the CAF Champions League.

After defeating Defense Forces of Ethiopia 2-0 in Enugu, Rangers International went to Addis Ababa and secured a 3-1 win, thereby winning by 5-1 aggregate score.

The Flying Antelopes as Rangers is fondly called will take on USM Bel Abbes, who eliminated  LISCR, in the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
