Nigeria is in total comatose – Sen Kwankwaso

Presidential hopeful under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, Sen Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso says Nigeria is in total comatose and requires urgent attention.
Sen. Kwankwaso identified areas such as infrastructure,Electricity,Education,Agriculture and Health as areas which need immediate attention.
Speaking when he led a delegation of the Kwankwasiya Presidential Movement on a courtesy visit to Governor Okezie  Ikpeazu of Abia State at Government House Umuahia, Kwankwaso who said he was in the state to solicit the support and corporation of Abia PDP delegates in the party’s  forthcoming primaries,noted that if he given the opportunity,he would revive the nation’s economy.
The former governor of Kano state and serving senator said he is in total support of restructuring of Nigeria,and would address the interest of every zone as well as tackle effectively the challenges facing Nigeria if elected president.
Kwankwaso who said he was part of the committee which drafted the 1999 constitution, pointed out that the nation’s constitution should be changed from time to time to reflect the needs of the people.
He lauded Governor Ikpeazu for his achievements in the state and called on Abians to come out enmasse and vote him as governor for a second term come 2019.
Responding Governor Ikpeazu while noting that Nigeria is in dire need of pragmatic leaders added that Sen. Kwankwaso possess both the qualification and capacity to lead.
According to him, Sen. Kwankwaso has the requisite knowledge to fast track the country’s economic base.
Ikpeazu who decried the spate of insurgency in the country noted that no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere devoid of peace and security.
Describing Nigeria as a country that has been orphaned and needs ownership,governor Ikpeazu said the country needs a unifying factor for people to operate without fear of favour , adding that the current situation in Nigeria calls for all hands to be on deck to build the nation of everyone’s dreams.
Sen. Kwankwaso later visited the Abia PDP secretariat where he met with the party chairman, Chief Johnson Onuigbo and other party stalwarts.
