Newcastle United have appointed Eddie Howe to succeed Steve Bruce as the club;s manager.
Howe, who left Bournemouth in August 2020 after they were relegated, has signed a contract that will keep him at the St James’ Park till the summer of 2024.
It will be a very challenging job for Howe as Newcastle United are currently 19th on the log after 11 matches and five points from safety.
Newcastle United signed Howe after Unai Emery, the manager of Villarreal rejected their offer.
Recall that Steve Bruce left Newcastle on October 20 on mutual consent about two weeks after the club was taken over by Saudi Consultants in a deal worth 305 million pounds.
