New SDG Multi-Purpose Hospital:  A Healthcare Milestone For Ugwunagbo, Says Deputy Mayor Hon Chijioke 

The Deputy Mayor of Ugwunagbo LGA, Hon. Nnamdi Chijioke has described the commissioning of the fully equipped Sustainable Development Multi-Purpose Hospital by Governor Alex Otti as a major advancement for the local healthcare system.
The Deputy Mayor who was speaking in an interview with Newsmen during the Commissioning of the project at Obeaja Autonomous Community in Ugwunagbo LGA said the state of the art health facility will significantly improve healthcare delivery in the area.
He noted that the hospital, equipped with advanced laboratories and comprehensive medical services, was initiated during the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari and completed by the President Bola Tinubu administration.
Hon Chijioke said that the establishment of the Hospital would also address the long-standing need for quality healthcare in the area adding that the landmark event marks the first time the community will have access to a government or federal healthcare facility.
We are extremely happy with this development. This hospital will greatly impact the lives of our people, who previously had to rely on private hospitals for healthcare. 
“Many government healthcare facilities built by previous administrations have not been functional, which left the community dependent on private options“, he said.
The Deputy Mayor also assured that the community would take full ownership of the hospital, to ensure its maintenance and protection from vandalism.
“We are committed to ensuring that this facility remains functional and beneficial to all. This is a proud moment for Ugwunagbo.
“This hospital would impact greatly on the people of Ugwunagbo. My people are so happy, we welcome the development,  it is a good one for our Local Government and the State entirely.
“We have ensured the hospital is equipped with security, and we have worked with the traditional rulers’ council to educate the people about the importance of protecting government property.
“This hospital is for the benefit of all, a youth today will be an adult tomorrow, who will marry and have children. Everyone stands to gain from this facility, Hon Chijioke stated.
