Ndidi, Iwobi Start 2019 with Victories

Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi won their first matches of the year for their respective clubs in the English Premier League.

Ndidi played all 90 minutes as Leicester City defeated Everton by a lone goal at the Gudddison Park. Vardy scored Foxes only goal early in the first half.

This victory has taken Leicester City to seventh on the league table.

Playing at home, Arsenal flogged relegation threatened Fulham 4-1 with Alex Iwobi playing for 83 minutes before he was substituted with Saka.

Xhaka opened scoring in the first before Lacazette doubled the Gunners lead on the 55^th minute. But, Kamara pulled one back for the visitors.

Two more goals from Ramsey and Aubameyang put the game beyond Claudio Ranieri and his wards.

In the third match of the day, Tottenham Hotspur crushed Cardiff City 3-0.
