NDDC Promises Support for Civic Empowerment Project

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has promised to support Project New Nigeria, a program that aims to educate and empower young people, promote civic responsibility, and encourage inclusive governance.

The Managing Director of NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, said the project fits well with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Commission’s development goals. He explained that it is important to help young people take part in democratic activities and understand their role in building the nation.

Dr. Ogbuku, who was represented by the Deputy Director of Education, Health and Social Services, Mrs. Chioma Nwakwue, praised the organizers of the project. She added that the Commission will continue to support any initiative that promotes civic responsibility, develops leadership skills, and empowers the next generation.

“Helping our young people participate more in democracy is an important step in building the Nigeria we want.
We strongly support programs that promote civic responsibility, nurture leadership, and empower our youths,” Dr. Ogbuku said.
