National Ambassador sets Editorial Advisory Board

Following plan for a daily publication of National Ambassador Newspapers an Editorial Advisory Board has been inaugurated to assist the management of the Corporation to actualize the plan enunciated by the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu.

Inaugurating the Board, the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information, Elder Ifeanyi Agbai, charged the five-man advisory board to bring to bear their wealth of experience in putting the Corporation back can track.

Elder Agbai stressed the need for the publication of a quality newspaper that would not easily compete with other daily National Newspapers but of an international standard and used the board members to give the management of the Corporation the needed support to succeed necessary support to actualize the dream.

Elder Agbai charged the board members to always monitor the activities of the Corporation in order to achieve success  and expressed the confidence that the board would effectively carry out the assignment.

In his response, the chairman of the board, Mr. Ogbuagu Ogbuagu   pledged that the board would do its best to carry out the assign duties dutifully, adding that the members would perform well based on the accumulated experiences.

He expressed joy that the assigned task has given them the opportunity to reunite again as people who previously worked with ANPC.

In his speech the Ag. Manager of ANPC Mr. Kingsley Ugorji expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for the vision of returning the National Ambassador to a daily publication and added that he was satisfied with the category of people involved in the editorial board.

He therefore assured the management and the staffs of ANPC were willing to ensure that the newspaper was repositioned and pledged to justify the confidence bestowed upon him.

Members of the board include the Chairman, Mr. Ogbuagu Ogbuagu, Chairman , Mr. Francis Nwogu, Mr. Uzoma Isiakpu, Mr. Sunny Ogele and Mr. Uzomba Efuribe.
