NAFDAC headquarters hit by early morning fire

The early morning fire which hit the headquarters of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Abuja on Friday has been curtailed.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed on Friday that the fire had been extinguished.

The believed to have been sparked by electrical fault started at about 6:20 a.m. Friday.

Fire service officials arrived at the scene late to control the situation.
