My govt changed the narrative in road infrastructure -Gov Ikpeazu

Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State has said that his administration tremendously changed the narrative in the area of road infrastructure among others sectors.

 

Governor Ikpeazu stated this when he visited the people of Isialangwa South and North Local Government Areas, as part of the campaign for his re elected bid.

He stated that for any government at all levels to succeed, priority attention must be given to the welfare of the people,adding that his administration has appointed over 300 sons and daughters of the area into various positions in the state.

Governor Ikpeazu, charged the people not to throw away the opportunity given to them of having a Governor zoned from their area by not voting for the PDP.

While urging them to vote for PDP at all levels in the forthcoming elections,Governor Ikpeazu said that his good works seeks for the betterment of the lives of Abians and not for selfish reasons.

The Governor expressed appreciation for the massive turnout of party loyalists,urging them to replicate same in the forthcoming elections.

Some of the people who spoke at the rally including the senator representing Abia Central senatorial zone, Chief Theodore Orji, member representing Isialangwa North/South Federal constituency, Hon. Darlington Nwokocha, the PDP woman leader in Isiala Ngwa South, Lady Cecilia Onwukanjo, and a Member of the Abia State Elders Council, Dr Gershon Amuta, PDP State Chairman ,Chief Johnson Onuigbo among others also urged the people to vote for PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections.

Highlights of the Rally was the formal reception of hundreds of defectors from other political parties to the PDP fold.
