A one time Associate Pastor of Living Faith Church,Umuahia,Pst Ugochukwu Uchegbu,has disclosed that his victory at the just concluded PDP House of Assembly Primary was divine.
Pst Uchegbu who likened himself to the Biblical David,said he was the least among other aspirants for the race but God favoured him.

According to him,God had long ago showed him in a vision the line of his destiny.He said he saw a Bible and at the same politics, which got him confused, but narrated that today the vision has become clearer with his emergence as the PDP flag bearer for Umuahia Central State Constituency seat at the Abia House of Assembly.
He further described his victory as divine,stating that even though he lacked the financial capacity to match other aspirants who contested for the same position with him, but God paved way for him.
“This victory further validates what God told me few years ago”.
Disclosing what he would do for his constituents if swron in as the member representing Umuahia Central, Pst Uchegbu stated that he would focus more on the welfare of the less privileged,with scholarship programs and other poverty alleviation programs for his people.
He called on other aspirants who lost at the contest to join in his vision, stating that there was no victor,no vanquish.
It could be recalled that Pst Uchegbu clinched the party’s ticket for Umuahia Central State Constituency, having defeated other six aspirants, including the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Jude Ndukwe,the former General Manager of ASEPA,Eze Okwulehie among others, with 4 votes out of the 10 votes cast.
