The wife of the Governor of Abia state, Mrs. Priscilla Otti has commiserated with her Bayelsa counterpart Governor, Mrs. Gloria Diri, over the demise of her sister, Mrs. Victoria Ali (nee Toruemi).
Mrs. Otti, who attended the funeral at Ahoada East local government area of Rivers state in the company of the wife of Edo state governor, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki condoled with the family to be strong in the Lord, be hopeful and bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
The funeral service was conducted by the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Nigeria, Rivers state, Reverend Abel Amadi, who said that death was a necessary end for everyone on earth hence Victoria Ali has taken the experience that must come on everyone.

According to him, ” thank God she died as a believer in Christ, we therefore believes that she has escaped the troubles of this world to be with our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven” he said.
Earlier in his tribute, the husband of the deceased, Rev. Anthony Ali, described as most shocking experience of his life, the death of his wife.
“It is now I understand the real biblical meaning of marriage in pratical terms” he further stated.
Meanwhile, late Victoria Ali was a teacher, a business woman who has contributed her quota to humanity before demise.
