Abia State First Lady, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, has expressed delight in attending the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Aba South Conference Women Ministry Convention held at the Total Education Development Academy in Eke Owerre, Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia.
In a keynote address, The Governor’s wife stated that the convention ‘Connecting with Jesus’ theme affords Christians the opportunity to enrich their soul and work for Christ.
Mrs. Otti advised that nothing should distract Christians from labouring in the Lord’s vineyard, for such labour of love connects them back to God with numerous blessings.
She maintained that the present administration led by Governor Otti is being sustained by God and will continue to partner with the people of God to keep Abia state safe.
In her remarks, the SDA Women Ministry Director, Aba South Conference, Deaconess Esther Adaku Chinagozi, said that the convention was an opportunity for them to be empowered to do exploit for God.
In her words, Women Ministry is all about soul winning through hospitality, welfare and selfless service to humanity and we need support to reach out to the society.
Earlier in his address, the SDA Church President Aba South Conference, Pastor Ukegbu James expressed that the Women Ministry Convention was a summon to take a spiritual inventory of their lives and make necessary amendments hence the theme “Connecting with Jesus”.
He called on the women to take home the lesson they have learned and apply it to work to win souls for Jesus Christ.
