Mrs. Otti celebrates Archbishop Agupusi’s 44th anniversary on the pulpit

Wife of Abia Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti 

The wife of Abia Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, has described the Archbishop of the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Right Reverend Godfrey Agupusi as a man who renders a selfless services to God and humanity.

Mrs. Otti, stated this today at the Methodist Church of Nigeria, Diocese of Aba during a thanksgiving service to marks the 44th anniversary of Archbishop Agupusi on the pulpit and his 65 birthday celebration.

The Abia First Lady disclosed that through the teachings and ministry of archbishop Agupusi, many received Christ and were blessed.

Mrs. Otti also joined other bishops and lay preachers of the church to unveil the books (The Vessels of Honour and A Lie for God) written by Bishop Agupusi and his son Barr. Kelechi Agupusi.

“Just as we are celebrating your remarkable milestone as a beacon of hope, we also commend the leadership of Abia state for their efforts in addressing the infrastructural deficit and development in Abia state,” Mrs. Otti said.

Bishop Sunday Eze 

In a sermon, Bishop Sunday Eze thanked God for bringing Archbishop Agupusi to the climax of his service.

According to him, God chose Archbishop Agupusi to minister to him and he did not disappoint God.

He described the archbishop as one who has shown leadership in various capacities without asking for a position.
He prayed that God will grant him his desires even as he continued to work in the Lord’s vineyard.

Professor Madu Iwe of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike who reviewed the books recommend it for all and sundry that it is a work of faith that will draw the reader closer to God.

Meanwhile, the archbishop of Aba Diocese, Methodist Church of Nigeria, Godfrey Agupusi thanked the wife of Abia Governor and all who supported him to be where he is today.
