Mr. Kingston Elefue Assumes Duty As Perm Sec, Government House, Vows To Drive Excellence

 

Mr. Kingston Ugochukwu Elefue, has officially assumed duty as the Permanent Secretary overseeing Government House, Umuahia.

 

Speaking during the official handover ceremony, the immediate past Permanent Secretary, Government House, and Abia State Head of Service, Mr. Benson Ojeikere, urged Mr. Elefue to work closely with the staff to realize the vision of Governor Alex Otti for the State.

 

Mr. Ojeikere also encouraged the New Permanent Secretary to foster a cordial relationship with the staff, as well as treat them as a father figure and prioritize their welfare.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Alex Otti for his elevation to the position of Head of Service, and called on the Government House staff to extend the same cooperation and support given to him to the new Permanent Secretary to ensure his success in the role.

In his response, the Permanent Secretary, Government House Umuahia, Mr. Kingston Elefue thanked the outgoing Head of Service for a seamless handover.

 

He assured that he would deploy his wealth of experience to galvanize the staff towards achieving the goals and objectives of the present administration, which he described as being led by a worker-friendly Governor.

The handover ceremony, which was witnessed by the Director of Administration, Lady Nwomiko Udo-Nwokocha, the Director of Finance, Mrs. Onyedika Ogwo, and other management staff of the Government House, featured the signing of handover notes.
