Insider reveals that there’s an internal crisis brewing between the 2 camps on who would control the party’s machinery in the state in anticipation to 2019.

The source maintained that the delay in the appointment of new commissioners is as a result of internal conflicts between the 2 camps.

Ikpeazu opposed his political fathers nominees on the grounds that those people has been in political circle for long and have turned to liabilities and won’t be useful in future election a situation that angered the former governor who maintained that Ikpeazu agreed to do only one tenure in office.

The source quoted the Senator as saying he regrets ever putting his support for a man whose loyalty was not first tested and vowed to oppose his second term bid.
The fear that Ikpeazu would want to restructure the Party to favour those who would help him to retain the parties ticket has forced some exco members to pinch their tent in the ruling Apc.
A source close to Ikpeazu was quoted as saying that “Ochendo is selfish man, he wants to eat his cake and have it, he wants to destroy Ikpeazu and finish him politically before 2019 so that people will see him as worst governor”.
Already, 2 Federal house members and some state Assembly members have perfected their defection plans in few weeks.
