March 9 polls: Abia Speaker seeks for vote from Council workers

The Member representing Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency and Speaker, Abia State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Chikwendu Kalu, has urged workers in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Council to see the March 9 Governorship and State House of Assembly elections as a defining moment for the Ngwa people.

The Speaker who disclosed this while addressing management and staff members of Isiala Ngwa South at the Council headquarters, Omoba, today, said party affiliation has nothing to do with the identity of an Ngwa-man and appealed that they should jettison nomenclature stating that the March 9 polls is an indication that a state of emergency is being declared in Ngwa-land.

He enjoined the workers who are largely Ngwa indigenes to ensure they vote for Governor Ikpeazu and himself in the oncoming elections for equity and continuity adding that he would continue to work in synergy with the governor to attract quality democracy dividends to the Ngwa people.
