Mancini in run for Manchester United job

Former Manchester City boss, Roberto Mancini, has joined the race to become the manager of Manchester United next summer.

According to London Telegraph, the Italian head coach, who managed United’s city rival, Manchester City between 2009 and 2013 is interested in the United job.

Recall that Manchester United fired their embattled manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer after the Red Devils suffered an embarrassing 4-1 defeat in the hands of Watford.

Former United player, Michael Carrick took charge of their Champions League game against Villarreal, which the Red Devils won 2-0 and their 1-1 Premier League draw with Chelsea.

Ralf Rangnick will take charge of United till the end of the season and Mancini is hoping to take charge of the club from next season.
