MANCHESTER DERBY: United Aim To Frustrate City’s Title Hopes

Manchester City will host Manchester United in the first Manchester derby of the year. This match is important for both sides as the EPL title and Champions League spot are at stake.

The outcome of this encounter will go a long way in determining whether City will win the league, especially as Liverpool are just three points adrift with a game in hand.

United on their part are on fourth place, two points above West Ham. A win will boost their chances of playing in the Champions League next season.

City defeated United 0-2 in the reverse fixture. But a lot have changed since then. At least Ole Gunnar Solksjaer is no longer in charge.

Furthermore, United have not lost at the Etihad Stadium since November 2018.

Beyond this match, City have a relatively easier games as West Ham United are the only top six club they will face before the end of the season, after hosting Liverpool on April 10.

But, United who last won the league in 2013 will still face Chelsea, West Ham United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
