It was a gathering of top business men, captains of industry, political office holders,as well as public servants in Nigeria at the Chief Achor Hawkins Uluocha thanksgiving ceremony/Dedication of an edifice in Umuahia, Abia State.
The event which took place at Chief Hawkins country home in Ogbodiukwu, Umuahia South Local Government Area, after a thanksgiving service at the Ebenezer Methodist Church,Ogbodiukwu,had guests from all works of life to celebrate with the Hawk’s family over a successful completion of a multimillionaire residential home.
Guests were treated to sumptuous meals and expensive drinks to celebrate the event which also coincided with the Christmas celebration.
Music icons were on stand by to thrill guests on delectable afro/juju,as well as highlife music.
Present at the event were the Managing Director, Nigerian Film Corporation,Jos, Dr Chidia Maduekwe,the Abia state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress,Hon Acho Obioma,Prime Minister of Cubana group,Lucky Luciano,the member representing Umuahia North State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike, Traditional rulers, a business mogul as well as an APC chieftain from Okwu Olokoro, Mark Ugorji among other notable personalities.
Interacting with some of the guests, the M.D Nigerian Film Corporation, Dr Chidia Maduekwe, lauded the tenacity of Chief Hawkins,who he said got to the peak of his career through honesty, humility and hardwork.

According to Dr Maduekwe no feat can be achieved by mere hardwork but through self developed values.
He said one must be committed to values that can lift humanity and as well, imbibe virtues that can lift oneself such as sincerity, respect, humility among others, adding that these values are what make a man great.
Dr Maduekwe decried the rate youths engage in nefarious activities just to live in mansions and drive on good cars, adding that some have taken solace in drug and other illicit businesses,causing danger to the society.
He said further that youths have been misdirected and exposed to vices and that he said must be corrected quickly, adding that it is the duty of parents to rise up and strive to imbibe moral values on their children,so that they will be better persons.
The MD NFC, however, congratulated the Hawk family for the feat achieved.
Also, the Chairman of the APC in Abia, Hon Acho Obioma, said the edifice built by his friend and brother, Chief Hawk Uluocha, can only be achieved by the grace of God.

According to him,its not in the energy or wisdom exerted but basically by God’s grace.
Hon Obioma stated that those desirous of such blessings should allow God to guide them and their affairs.
An APC chieftain from Okwu in Olokoro,Mark Ugorji, stated that youths should take a leaf from Hawkins Uluocha, who he said got his achievements through humility.
“Hawk is a very humble person. He has respect for himself and others.Just as the Bible stated, that God resists the proud and lifts the Humble.Hawk was lifted by virtue of humility”.
Earlier, the Traditional Rulers of Umuchime na Ofiyi Autonomous community, Ogbodiukwu, Eze Obi Uluocha,who is also the Elder brother of the celebrant, acknowledged God as the source of the younger brother’s success.
