Manchester United manager, Ole Gonnar Solskjaer has revealed that Jesse Lingard is not expected to be back in action until after the international break. This means that he will miss Sunday’s Premier League match with Newcastle United.
Lingard came in as a substitute in Thursday’s Europa League match adainst AZ Alkmaar, but limped off late on.
“He tweaked his hamstring so he didn’t feel like he could risk it” Solskjaer said. “But, hopefully it’s not too bad. Probably not Newcastle, but he should be ready for Liverpool.”
Manchester United will take on Liverpool on Sunday, October 20.
