LG Polls: Abians urged to conduct themselves Peacefully

 

Ahead of the Local Government Council election slated to hold tomorrow in Abia, Abians have urged to come out enmesse and vote candidates of their choice,while they conduct themselves in a peaceful mannnr.

The Abia State Commissioner for Information and Strategy,Chief John Okiyi Kalu, who stated this in his office, during a Media briefing, said that the government has provided adequate security to ensure a rancour free exercise,
urging everyone to come out enmesse and vote in candidates of their choice, without fear of being molested or dehumanised.

He expressed optimism that the PDP would be clearing the whole Seventeen LGAs, having done series of campaigns across the state.

The Information boss further revealed that it’s going to be a 100% victory for the PDP, advising opposition parties to get ready to accept the outcome of the exercise in a good fate.

“We are ready for victory,Abia is a PDP state and no opposition can withstand us.PDP is the only party in the state,that did a Mega Campaign Rally to flag off campaigns across the various Local Government Areas and wards.Therefore,they are ready for a landslide victory,” he revealed.

Chief Kalu, however, urged Abians to follow strictly,guidelines outlined by the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission.(ABSIEC),as well as ensure all Covid 19 safety measures are obeyed to the latter.
