LEAP Conference 2026: BWN Urges Purpose-Driven Leadership Among Women.
The Boundless Women Network (BWN), a pan-African leadership and discipleship platform, has hosted the LEAP Conference 2026 in Umuahia, bringing together women leaders, professionals, and stakeholders to promote purposeful and transformational leadership.
The conference, held at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Secretariat Hall, was themed “Awakened: The Woman, The Responsibility, The Mandate.” It focused on encouraging women to embrace leadership roles, take personal responsibility, and create meaningful impact in society.
The founder of Boundless Women Network, Architect Nnenna Ogbonna, described the conference as a platform aimed at building leadership capacity, strengthening character, and providing direction for women and girls.
In her keynote address, former Head of Service, Queen Ngozi Obioma, spoke on “Righteous Leadership in Positions of Trust,” stressing the importance of women understanding their identity and embracing their roles as agents of change capable of driving generational transformation.
A consultant paediatrician, Onyinyechukwu Anyanwu, urged women to build strong support systems and communities to help them navigate life’s challenges. She shared insights from her professional and personal experiences during an interactive session.
Also speaking, the CEO of Abia Tech Hub, ThankGod Maduka, highlighted the growing influence of artificial intelligence in shaping the future, noting its potential applications in agriculture, transportation, and drone technology.
Spiritual guidance at the conference was provided by Samuel, who encouraged women to remain prayerful and to support one another rather than compete, particularly within families and communities.
The event attracted participants and representatives from government ministries, including Information, Sports, Health, and Environment, as well as members of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria, Abia State chapter.
The LEAP Conference 2026 forms part of BWN’s ongoing efforts to empower women with leadership skills, foster collaboration, and promote positive societal change across Abia State and beyond.
