January 25 Rerun: Ukaoha extols constituents, INEC, says time to work

Member representing Arochukwu State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Mike Ukaoha, has assured his contituents of quality representation with good dividends of democracy.
Ukaoha who stated this in a chat with newsmen in his constituency office at the House of Assembly Complex today, expressed delight and gratitude to God and the people of Arochukwu State constituency for reconfirming their mandate by voting him as their representative in the just concluded January 25, rerun election in his constituency.
He equally thanked the independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for conducting a free, fair and credible election despite some technical and logistic challenges during the poll.
The lawmaker affirmed that the victory he achieved was a prove that he was the people’s choice in the 2019 general elections adding that now the electioneering distractions are over, he would concentrate on ways to attracting quality democracy dividends to his constituents.
While fileding questions on the assessment of the 7th House of Assembly so far, Hon. Ukaoha scored their performance 45 per cent in terms of oversight function stressing that by the time they will complete the cycle of four years, they would hit an excellent grade.
He, therefore, urged Abians to keep faith with the State lawmakers with a view to making laws that will create employment opportunities for the teeming youths, improve revenue generation and good governance in the State.
