Italian FA To Probe Victor Osimhen Racial Abuse

The Italian Football Association has lunched an investigation into the racial chants targeted at Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen during his club’s Serie A encounter with AS Roma.

The match was so emotionally charged that both managers-Roma’s Jose Mourinho and Luciano Spalletti of Napoli were sent off.

Osimhen gave the Roma defense a run for their money hitting the wood work twice and having his 88th minute goal disallowed for offside. These did not go down well with Roma fans, the started racial chants against the Nigerian hitman.

Meanwhile, AS Roma have been fined ten thousand Euros.

Recall that Victor Osimhen, Kalidou Koulibaly and Andre-Frank Anguissa were recently racially abused when Napoli defeated Fiorentina 2-1.
